people don’t need a guide when using a chat bot that tells them how they should treat and interact with it.

Then why are people always surprised to find out that chat bots will make shit up to answer their questions?

People absolutely need a guide for using a chat bot, because people are idiots.

The one does not flow directly from the other. A better world requires some protecting from each other, which means giving up some freedoms. A system of complete and total freedom would not be good for most people.

However, as Franken said, it is important not to give up essential freedoms. What freedoms, exactly, count as “essential” ones? Hard to say. We should have a thread to discuss it.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but a lot of the trouble in the US was caused by people using their freedom to do terrible things to people, and to set the stage for more of the same.

Provided they don’t touch freedom to not breed, and we don’t put racist ducks in charge, I think that works be the easiest for me to bear.

But I don’t want kids, so it’s not much of a sacrifice.

Carefully trimmed sticker?

EDIT: Ah, I see you’ve handled it. Carry on, then.

Should be possible to just not plug them in.

But I have no idea why they are there in the first place.

I’m not suggesting that America before Trump was a paragon of virtue. But our corrupt leaders and wealthy oligarchs made America powerful to serve their own ends.

Trump is not serving the ends of American oligarchs. He’s serving the ends of Russian oligarchs.

it’s absolutely insane to conclude that Russia controls western governments.

Maybe not governments in general, but Trump and his party specifically, doesn’t seem too insane.

Israel isn’t responsible for Trump remarkable attempts at destroying the US economy, USD, and the entirety of their softpower.

No, but they helped get him elected.

Not sure they did it on purpose, and it only affected the stupidest of Democrat voters, but any argument that the genocide in Palestine didn’t impact our election is not being honest.

Gambet, part 2, I believe.

That scene is wonderful, and gave me entirely unrealistic expectations for my workplace.

At risk of being political, I think that’s called “being a Democrat.”

I really hate it when people I agree with use such terrible flawed arguments to support my ideals.

I cannot express it as a single word, but I’ve become quite attached to “cause no unnecessary harm.”

I think it refers to being being out at work, or at a major event.

If I shit myself at work, I’m going home. I’m not coming back, either.

If I’m out hiking, same again.

If i’m running errands, I might have to go back out to finish them. The groceries aren’t gonna buy themselves, and now I really have to do the laundry.

Bones in the Ocean hurts me in ways that it has no business doing so.

I’ve never suffered a loss of any great magnitude. I’ve never even been to sea, though I desperately wish I had been.
