Just your typical internet guy with questionable humor
The “shameless pedantry” is meant to ensure that the point you’re trying to make is clear and not an infinite exercise of “moving the goalposts”. If the premise is bad, the whole argument fails.
As for the point, the other poster that said “it’s the current reality” made the best reply, in my opinion
Still on X4, over 150h in now. Got a small fleet of destroyer ships and “conquered” a sector that was originally Xenon owned (Tharkas Demise I think, north of Hatkivah Choice). The problem is that they keep sending fighters and, once in a while, a destroyer - the latter WILL destroy 1 or 2 of my destroyers if I’m not manually piloting one of them
X4 is a very complex game. You start as a relative nobody in space, but can earn money to create big mining and trading fleets to get more money while you’re busy with other stuff, finally using said money to buy military fleets.
It’s full of eurojank, it’s a huge time sink (I’m a bit over 100h now), but it may be the kind of thing that tickles your neurons just right.
On average, how much do you think your fellow North Koreans actually believe in the dear leader?
How do you feel about the general culture of absolute obedience to people higher up in the hierarchy?
How do you even have access to a computer (phone?) and the internet? Aren’t those heavily restricted and watched by the police?
Youtube has some propaganda/advertisement videos showing shops in Pyongyang with ice cream and other sweets. Do the locals buy there often, or at all?
People not caring about their privacy and their data being collected and sold to everyone. “Eh, it’s not like my data is worth anything”. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be sold, moron. All those spam and scam calls you receive? Yeah, that’s because your “worthless” data is being sold, resold and spread out everywhere. But hey, if you fall for a scam and lose, dunno, 50k dollars, it’s not a big deal, huh?
Private property. Remove that and many problems will solve themselves real quick, though that will also cause a large number of human deaths before things stabilize
