Steve fucking Bannon wanted exactly these kinds of men. He helped push the gamergate thing and wanted to cultivate a group that he called “rootless white men.” He utilized anger within the gaming community and focused it on right wing talking points, now that shit has spread like wildfire. Check any steam discussions forum for any reasonably popular game and you’re guaranteed to find a “is this game woke?” Thread or “stop with the fucking pronouns!”
You’re not alone in feeling this way for sure. I’m only still alive because I have older family members who would be devastated if I did anything to myself. Once they’re gone I can finally go too.
I love my family and want them to live happily, but like… Please don’t live to 100… I’m growing impatient lol
Lance or sword and shield might be good to stay a bit safer and learn the monsters. This game series is all about understanding what you’re fighting, they will all have a “tell” when they go to do something. Some might take one step backwards and arch in a specific way, some might make a specific noise, and they’ll always follow with a specific move. You have to understand what they’re going to do so you can figure out how much time you have to attack.
You’re going to die a bunch, but after a while you’ll come to know how the monster you’re fighting will move and it will get easier.
After all that also get to learn the skills that come with armor pieces, you want specific skills to compliment play styles. I don’t remember freedom unite specifically, but for weapons with a shield you’d want a skill called “guard” that improves how blocking works, whether it’s taking less stamina when you get hit or allowing you to block once unblockable moves.
And as others have said, with the older monster hunter games you have to learn “the claw” lol they had absolutely atrocious camera controls
I keep editing as I remember other important things lol there’s a move called the “superman dive” that will save your ass. When your weapon is put away and you’re running AWAY from an attack, you can “roll” but it will make you do a dive that makes you invulnerable for a bit. You cannot be moving towards the monster or it won’t work and you’ll just do a normal roll. I also don’t remember if freedom unite has this as well, but in most monster hunter games you don’t have to get up when you get hit to the ground. If a monster knocks you down and you see they’re following with another move just don’t move, let your character stay down and you shouldn’t get hit.

Stupid things like being at work, someone uses the last of something and just leaves the empty box and tells no one that we’re out. To me that says “fuck you, someone else can clean this. I got what I need, the person who needs it next can say we need more.”

I am this person lol without knowing them at all I can say at least for this type of person I think the best thing to do is just be direct about work stuff, get to the point right away after the initial pleasantries of initiating the conversation. If they’re anything like me they might actually dislike conversation for similar reasons that you feel anxious. I just don’t have much to say other than strictly work related business and it stresses me out to be stuck in a “meaningless” conversation.
If coworker 1 really is “a bitch” then there isn’t all that much you can do, just treat her similar to coworker 4 and just accept that she might be judging you for stupid reasons. That’s more of a “her problem” than a you problem. As they say “you can’t make everyone like you.” but that doesn’t have to mean there’s anything “wrong” with you, some people just don’t mesh well.
Unfortunately it’s never aliens.
I always assume any UAP are just some military tech or misinterpreted data. Would be nice if it were aliens though lol
