Hardly ever used it, but got a notification from it on my phone the other day which reminded me I still had it on my phone. It was still linked to my old reddit username which got suspended permanently a month or two back, so I finally got around to taking it off.
Just a reminder for those of us who mostly used reddit via laptop etc - you may still have it on your phone but forgotten about it - if a bunch of people uninstall it that will not look good for them

Do I need a separate kbin.social account or will my Lemmy account …do magic(? ) via the fediverse?
Your lemmy account should work from there, but you might have to search the magazine for the post in that case. I’m not sure how to do a fediverse link to a specific thread/comment, let alone one that works on lemmy.

I haven’t deleted the app, but I did move it off the main page of my phone, like I did with Twitter. That basically means it never gets opened unless I’ve come across a direct link to either site and I click on it. When I get a new phone this fall, I’m not even going to bother downloading them, like I did with Instagram and my current phone. They’ve all been consigned to irrelevancy.
