Is there a modern lemmy web ui option out there? lemmy.world and all the other instances I know use a lightweight, basic UI which has its benifits and gives a bit of an old reddit feel.

On mobile you can use wefwef.app

Yeah, I only wish the UI wasn’t so iOS like, since I’m using Android. But hey, you can’t have them all :)

You can use it on desktop as well, of course it’s nobile first but it’s not bad

That’s funny, I use userscripts to make lemmy look like old reddit because I dislike the modern spoace-wasting look :D

I think it strikes a balance of looking relatively modern without being unnecessarily bloated and annoying like new Reddit and most sites these days.
