You have to know that Professor Mearsheimer has also been censured, extensively, with aggressive protests and counterprotests outside his office for years.
If I would guess, though, thereβs also at play that heβs a renowned expert and youβre a pseudonymous rando.
Thatβs a pretty strong guess I may concede. Still sad. This is the fediverse. Censorship shouldnβt be dictated by how renowned the subject is.
This is the open fediverse. You canβt be censored, you can be banned from specific communities but you can always open a new community to talk about what interests you.
In the fediverse people (moderators) may choose not to include you in their safe spaces, but you are not censored. You still have your voice. Just like this post here proves.
Tbh, Iβm surprised this post isnβt removed yet. Comments where Iβve been way less straight about the topic than in this post are usually removed. Maybe the professor reference saved the day this time?
