It’s not a matter of liking more, reddit was dead for me when they fucked their api. Lemmy still needs content, but the ux is wastly superior

My observation you’re responding to is neutral as regards providing support. I didn’t know that a) you need support, b) that you were looking here nor c) that a sentence with what amounts to a shower thought can so efficiently deprive you of some. I certainly support everyone’s decision to not have children while reserving the right to say they’re a great source of happiness and meaning in my life.


I found it’s something that enriches you and provides a strong sense of purpose and so from my viewpoint it’s nowhere near an accurate description.


Speaking as a psychologist, you really need to be squinting to think like this. Consider motivations for entering into such a contest and who they’re held by.

It is a pc, it’s gaben maintaining your arch. And it has officially supported replacement parts. And the thermals are great and power usage almost optimal. And it’s a kickass console as well that you don’t have to re-buy games for and can run emulators and still use all input as you like.


Before the unreal engine 5 update it ran great. Haven’t tried after, though, could still be ok.


Many older and/or casual gamers who’ve stopped following gaming and are living under the idiomatic rock would absolutely love a steam deck. And a significant portion of those would find it an upgrade over their laptop for Office and shit.


I am noticing your post, but I file it as part of the “anecdotal generalizations” trend
