Any multiplayer game. They sacrifice a deep and interesting storyline for the sake of pointless grinding and slaughtering.

We learned swimming in primary school in Germany, no opting out.

But having lived in several African countries and now in China, it’s surprising how many people not only can’t swim, but are deathly afraid of water.

No they don’t. They detect if an extension is installed in Chrome, and if so, automatically install the Firefox equivalent - if it exists - and migrate the data. An extension that’s chrome exclusive can’t be ported over. I just tested and confirmed this as well, instead I was the one misunderstanding the feature, but no. Can’t import any extensions not already natively existing in Firefox.

Yep, it takes a couple hours for the moisture of the yoghurt to fully seep into the muesli. If it’s too soggy for your taste afterwards, you can always stir some more back in to balance it out, but personally I like it very soggy. It becomes almost porridge-like. If it’s too sour, I’d add honey instead of sugar.

Mix it with frozen berries and plain (unsweetened) yoghurt, and let sit in the fridge over night. It’s delicious in the morning.

It was absolutely called Mäusespeck when I was a kid, but that’s 35+ years ago.

No, but I’m using the reMarkable 2 instead as a designated digital notepad, so you would probably argue I still have to carry stuff around.

As to why - I can write fast than I type (in meetings etc.) without losing focus.

  • Report spam, scam, racism, hostility and clickbait
  • Don’t engage trolls
  • Don’t answer questions I’m not sure I have the correct answer for (or else point out that I’m just giving a “best guess” response)
  • Try to be neutral or positive/affirming in replies. If I can’t, I’d rather not reply at all.

80’s, early 90’s. I think from '92 or so onwards, CD-ROM drives became standard equipment for home computers, but until the late 90’s they still came equipped with a floppy drive, if only to boot into recovery mode after a crash.

I installed a ROM made for a OnePlus 10 Pro 256 GB storage on the limited edition 512 GB storage version without any problems. At that time the limited edition was released in China only, and I flashed an Indian ROM (more mobile channels available than on the EU ROM).

Worked like a charm (still using it), full storage available. So if it’s just the RAM, I doubt you’ll have issues, since drivers tell the software how to access it, not how much there is.

I’ve been using Swype & Dragon since 2011 and it’s been consistently great, even though unfortunately officially discontinued.
