Doing drugs should be decriminalized, but not legal. Ideally when someone is found addicted to drugs they would be provided help rather than punishment. Selling drugs should remain criminal but consequences should be determined based on the amount found selling and to who (like a child or someone who’s pregnant would be a higher penalty at the discretion of the court), legalizing would just give a tax incentive for pushing drugs similar to gambling.
Edit: I want to clarify, I’m talking about addictive drugs with known negative health effects like meth. Weed can be legal, who cares.
Yeah if they’re banned then they’ll go back to their bubble saying they’re being silenced, but how can you silence someone who’s not contributing to the conversation?.. I’m fine with different opinions, but I don’t understand people who think the way to convince someone of your viewpoint is hostility. Telling someone to “fuck off” with no reason is just toxic. Once might be a bad mood/state of mind (happens to the best of us), but repeat offenders shouldn’t be allowed to keep harassing others.
Yeah, I get those too. Am always a little surprised, but I’ll be honest I’m interested in knowing what the other bubble is telling themselves… If it gets to be too much I’ll click not interested, but right now it’s just a bizarre break in my feed.
Edit: Just remembered this quote that fits “I’m fascinated by trash TV. The poet must not avert his eyes” - Werner Herzog
You’re talking about the theory of p = np. The idea that any problem whose solution can be verified quickly can also be solved quickly. This has not been proven or disproven, it’s a bit of an open mystery in computer science, but most are under the impression this is not the case and that p != np. Someone smarter than me please verify my explanation in linear time please.
Yeah, if you’re interested in learning things like server maintenance or docker you could absolutely spin up your own instance. Working on that myself right now, just gotta get the time to configure properly since I don’t want bots finding and getting in through it. Definitely more work than it’s probably worth though unless you’re interested in that.
That’s weird, because their servers can’t even seem to stay up long enough for any of the ai features in their app. It’s why I gave up on their max subscription because it would require doing conversations and 9 times out of 10 it would just stop listening/processing halfway through.
