Craiglist was never relevant in Mexico, so I gotta give this win to Facebook ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I am sorry, I don’t think I follow, I am CGNATED anyway, so I need to use VPNs to access my server (if IPv6 is not available, for IPv4 I am experimenting with Tailscale funnels as of now).

It is if you have compared them together.

I haven’t recently thought and I am a lifetime Plex pass user (we will see what lifetime truly means sooner or later) and I have still been unaffected by most of the changes Plex has done (watch together is the 1st valuable feature that I have lost), so if you can’t expose Jellyfin then it is not better than Plex for me.

Huh, I can’t check the link right now… But if exposing Jellyfin to the Internet is not an option, then it is not ready to be shipped as the Plex replacement I have heard a lot here and on Reddit.

Just really don’t like building mechanics in games. Or crafting.

High five brother.

Even with that I am about to finish BOTW, I am not too excited about TOTK though.

To be honest even when BOTW has crafting mechanics I barely use them… I don’t cook anything unless a mission requires it, the same for the weapons I don’t craft them, I just pick up whatever, it is not like they last too much.

I only have a Spanish one in my sight (it is like a reborn, I haven’t even signed in yet, I had an account for the previous website) called foros dz.

I also have some other Spanish forums bookmarked, gaming related but I think they are just dead.

TBH it’s pretty barren. I noticed that even comment sections are drying up.

You mean across many websites don’t you?

I definitely see a lot of websites with a comment box that it is just a wasteland lol.

I am sometimes like, jeez why even bother to include a comment box 🤣

When I mention the Fediverse to my gf she thinks I am talking about the “Fedeverso” an allusion to “Fedelobo” a Mexican YouTuber who looks a lot like a lot of Mexicans (hence the “Fedeverso”) I don’t blame her lol.

Yeah, I think it hasn’t aged so well, I think there is like a re.ake or something?

I’d still check out the PS2 version though.

I never got to finish Just Cause 1 and Kill Zone 1 🤔

I wouldn’t say they were unfun, but definitely I felt JC was very repetitive that I sort of left it behind and same can be said with Killzone, I played Killzone 2 and 3 and never got back to 1, but I intend to.

I only played that game briefly, and I was so confused with the game mechanics, maybe I didn’t stick with it for so long, but I remember it wasn’t very clear at the beginning how you should proceed?

Definitely sitting in my backlog though.

I have never played a MOBA but some quick sessions of Vainglory in an old iPhone… If that counts.

I can see the charm in the genre I guess… But battle royals? Hell no, you wrote it damn perfectly… It is a huge waste of time, whether it is for the grinding mechanics, or the camping mechanics, or the unfair situations, but that tension does well for streaming guys, I think that is why the genre got so popular? Like those brainless games that you see on social media like Facebook about driving trailers in messy roads or those Five Nights at Freddie’s kinds of games?

Damn, I expect not getting too ripped out in México…

Well, to be fair the N64 didn’t have any online capabilities, but I get your point.

Metroid Prime Hunters (online mode) and Jump Ultimate Stars… Let me dream.

Yep, they knew, that’s why they started with a disclaimer

Please don’t get angry for seeing The Last Of Us merely at number five in a ranking about the best things of a specific kind ever made.

It’s definitely good, competent, and very ugly or beautiful whenever it wants to be. Just like the game, it picked the perfect couple of actors to give life to the characters that could carry the massive weight of both the game’s drama and the hopes that more video games could get prestige TV treatment in the future.

But is it really that big of an achievement? It feels like a very safe adaptation of a game that already played like a movie in the first place. HBO’s The Last Of Us is good, but you know what else is good? Watching a video compilation of the cutscenes from the first game on YouTube. I wish we could see a future season starring a new group of main characters on a completely different adventure. Perhaps you can get Henry Cavill to star in it. I heard he likes games.

What made you choose your instance?
Following the spirit of spreading across the Fediverse (and because my main instance is down so many times, because diverse reasons) I'm intrigued about the joining instance process, because I honestly don't know what criteria to have in order to join another one if I ever want to do it. That made me curious of how you decided to join? I firstly join to lemmy.fmhy.ml thanks to Spez and a Reddit post from FMHY subreddit, then the tragedy occurred, then I joined to lemmy.world which is/was my main one because I pictured it like a good home, then lemmy.fmhy.net revived and I am with them too, but seems like they are in a bit of trouble with the server, finally now I am in lemm.ee, but only because I just wanted another backup, not because I searched for it especially (also it was mentioned in a comment about smaller instances and one user from here throw a joke to not join here because it sucks so that way the server would be more stable, so yeah, I joined). To be clear I am not in search for yet another instance (that sounds like a good instance name to be fair), I just want to know how the deciding process is for you, is it just random? Is it because of personal tastes? I couldn't care less about NSFW stuff, I don't search for it specifically, but my day won't be ruined if I see a tit. I like gaming, tech, Linux, SBC gaming, emulation, macOS, Android stuff etc (yeah how original) should I look for an instance dedicated to that if I ever want to join yet another one? Because I see topics like this in almost any instance. I read you lemmings! EDIT: BTW the migration process has been easier for me thanks to [LASIM](https://github.com/CMahaff/lasim), so I wouldn't be scared if I ever want/have to migrate again.
