I promise I didn’t steal yours! It was completely bare haha

Back in 2009, I went disc golfing with a friend and while walking back to the car, I saw a dark blue nalgene in the grass. I was poor and in college and had always wanted a nalgene bottle, so I took it.

Today at work, I filled that dark blue nalgene up with water and drank the whole 32 oz over the course of the day.

its been a great water bottle for these past 14 years.

I’ll be honest, I had no idea guinea pigs talked. Now I must scour the internet for videos of guinea pigs talking to their owners!

Tell you friend he has a death wish

Its definitely relative what is considered left vs right in Europe, especially since most countries over there have multiple parties (a good thing). But in general the American Left more closely resembles the “general” European right.

Looking up statistics for which countries are considered more democratic or more liberal, USA is always very far down the lists. Even compared to Italy.

That makes you left leaning to an American’s perspective. The political spectrum over here is farther right, even the left in the US is technically right center.

I remember hearings about this few years back when AdBlock started getting shady. Haven’t looked back

Im a biologist working in research. Ive always been a hobbyist with computers and videos games. But I never went into tech because I didn’t want to make my hobby a full time job.

Love Lemmy and can’t wait for it to be number one

Should Lemmy join in with /r/place to promote our community to a larger audience?
I feel like this might be a great chance to get the general reddit audience to hear about us better. Idk how many people we will need to pull this off. But if 155,000 people currently in the threadiverse is enough to take a large chuck of the /r/place map, we should do it and get people asking, whats lemmy? Like "JOIN LEMMY!" and have the lemmy icon written next to it. What does everyone think?
