This does not seem hard to acquire.

47 0 days since seeing a post from someone who still cares about Reddit for some reason.

The linked post is from 2021. Many of the items were already closed. This looks like fear mongering.

Yea many of the linked issues are already closed. Why is this post not down-voted like crazy?

Next post:

“Why do people respond to a message that doesn’t need a response when they could just send an emoji?”

My partner had a physics teacher tell her water can’t get hotter than 100C.

Thats seems similar to what I’m talking about. Like the second one in the video on the page I linked.

US can openers. In other countries, they cut the sides of the can not the top, so the lid has no chance of falling in while dulling the edges. It also allows them to be much smaller and easier to use.

Others have mentioned the sanding method, but thats a common builder grade floor. Replacement boards are always a way, but I would leave it to the landlord. Get a price quote so youre armed with that if they try to charge you for refinishing the whole floor.

This is a rental, not a historic restored mansion.

I ran a BBS back in the day with like 200ish? users. Engagement was way more valuable than growth. More people makes things harder, not easier. More engagement from less people is easier to manage, and leads to better communities.

Lemmy feels the same.

Lemmy is for discourse. I’d rather see the healthy and interesting back and forth of an OP and commenter than 5K up votes.

This power can be purchased for a few $. Search for “Usb reversible adapter”. Or just keep usb-a to C adapters permanently in everything.

While I wish metric was everywhere, this question, worded as it is, seems insulting. Why not ask Brits why they use both? Or invented imperial in the first place? Or read up on why metric isn’t used in the US?

I’m an advocate for 24hr clocks, metric and the like, but oh well.

I’ve heard this about ITT before. And thanks for this list, comment has been starred.

And I’ve known men, too. No indicator for OP, but its easy for anyone to fall into this trap.

Been looking at this game, but we are going slowly through Unravel 2 atm.

Yea, I’m considering an alternative, too. I love FF, but this is a big gap for me.

Where are my tabs on tablet? Oh where did they go…
