I love retro video games (and current games). And some badass implemented the rendering of several games and consoles in JavaScript just for fun, so that you can explore levels from many games right in your browser.

Note that I did say explore, not play. This website let’s you fly the camera through the level like with a “no clip cheat” (hence the site name).

It somewhat works on mobile devices in landscape mode (and maybe also “show desktop page”), but is best viewed and controlled on a PC.


Have you tried playing table tennis? It starts tame, but as soon as you get a bit competitive and learn about custom rackets…

My board game group usually buys games more often than we have time to meet and play, so it just comes with this hobby I guess. A friend told me all the time about the stack of three games he had bought and never played and that we still need to play them and then informed me today, that he has just bought Council of Shadows…


I got a manual (or just a general book about DOS?) with my first MSDOS PC, which I read. Otherwise no. I have read books about Linux or specific parts of Windows/Linux, but no “official” manual.


Huh, TIL - I’ve been using VLC for ages on my phone and on my tablet, but I never knew this. I just tried it - open Youtube app, select random Video, share, select VLC, wait a bit and it plays!
