Canoeing is definitely a big thing in the US. At least in the east, I suspect it’s much less common in the Midwest and desert states. I think that tourists are disproportionately likely to be canoeing for the first time, though.
That said, if you can’t figure out the physics of a canoe within the first couple strokes then maybe boating as a while just isn’t your thing
It’s fair enough to disagree, but I think the point being made is if God is good and he is all knowing and all powerful, then why does he allow evil to exist?
There are a lot of answers to that question, but the only one I can think of that allows for an omniscient & omnipotent god who is good is that the existence of evil must somehow, in a way beyond our understanding, be a benefit to the greater good. This can be a tough sell to the victims of that evil.
I think a distributed, democratically oriented platform that makes no effort to rank people in a hierarchy or score their performance naturally appeals to a lot of leftists. Can’t say I’ve seen much I would describe as extremist, but I haven’t looked so it seems plausible.
Of course there’s nothing actively stopping right wing instances from spinning up, so I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before one blows up.
It’s unclear if this even happened in the US; CD Projekt is Polish…
Also consider that the gun wan apparently, no shit, a flintlock pistol. They may have thought it was a prop or something.
