Baldurs gate is a DND based CRPG

Although DND games usually handwaive encumbrance with bags of holding.

Imo, the US needs to work toward nuclear usage being 90-95% instead of using coal. There’s still a need for natural gas but it can be minimized

Why? Wind and solar are cheaper, faster to build and don’t produce toxic waste. They can easily cover most of the energy needs. Or technically all of it, once you start using any overcapacity for hydrogen production (which is needed for carbon neutrality anyways).

Until you have people who get a yearly bonus. Or 13 or 14 monthly salaries a year, which is quite common in Germany (basically a bonus, but the employee is entitled to it).

The Ningi is a galactic unit of currency, valued at one eighth of a Triganic Pu. A Ningi is a triangular rubber coin six thousand eight hundred miles along each side. Galactibanks refuse to deal in Ningis, declaring them “fiddling small change.”

Not really what OP is looking for, but this came to my mind immediately.

Why? It’s not like BioWare has delivered a good game since ME3 (or arguably even ME2).

In this context, the question really boils down to “Do you want to ruin your former employee’s life to save a bit of company money?”. Which should not be a hard decision, but there’s way to many people who would disagree here. Kudos to the CEO to realize this and do the right thing, and good luck for your friend.

Strange… I watched a similar documentary, but it was Pizza Hut that prevailed.

Check out StreetComplete. It shows you missing osm data close to you so you can add that information directly. Very good way to get highly detailed information into OSM, like accessibility for stairs (handrail, ramps, etc.) or opening hours for shops (including updating older data)

I don't want to "Press any key to continue" to the main menu
At some point in this millenium, it became ubiquitous in games to ask for a button press before switching to the main menu and it has become a pet peeve off mine. Why is that there? It's your main menu so ugly that you have to shield players from it? Why can I not double click the game Icon, go to the kitchen to get coffee and return to the PC/console to find myself in the main menu ready to continue my game? Seriously, cui bono? Sometimes, they even show a different screen before that press, which some artist got paid for creating, so the developer is also losing (a tiny amount of) money here. I honestly just don't get the point of these screens. Bonus negative points for games that only check DLC after that button press instead of any other point of the losing process. Calling a server could easily be threaded while the game assets are loaded since it takes very little hardware load to do so. But no, I get to wait an additional 10 seconds because the game devs want me to for no apparent reason. On a related note: just allow players to auto skip intros, please. Just put an checkbox in the settings, so that everyone can see it once.

As far as I know, the “logic” is as follows:

  1. The ionosphere is very important for the weather
  2. HAARP is doing something with it
  3. Obviously not just studies, these antenna arrays use lasers or radiation to influence it directly.
  4. Pew pew
  5. Tornados

Here’s the criteria that the score is build on.

From a quick glance, I’d say US is majorly lacking in:

  • Equal opportunity to participate, vote: from felons bring denied voting rights to gerrymandering to Wisconsin votes being worth 4 times as much as California votes in presidential elections die to the EC, there’s a lot of fundamental issues here
  • Independence of the judiciary: the supreme court is not independent, and presidential pardons are a mockery of any justice system

“It’s really quite difficult to grab a tiger by its balls, but it takes an absolute moron to squeeze”

FTFY.

This extends to all kinds of directional light sources, notably headlights on cars and bicycles.

Simon Tatham’s Puzzles is an amazing collection of little puzzle games. There a ports for both Android and iOS available as well.

To be honest, I don’t remember 90% of that story. The opening is great (but that’s more the setting than story) and the final twist is amazing, but everything else is a blur.
