I love rock bands with women on the vocals. I like Dead Sara, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, The Beaches, The Warning, In This Moment, Metric, The Interrupters, Larkin Poe. Lots more but that’s a good sample.
What other bands/artists might I like?
Edit: thank you everyone for the recommendations! I have so much new stuff to listen to!
IR blaster, FM tuner, removable/replaceable battery (with lots of expanded 3rd party batteries available), secondary screen for checking notifications, hi-fi DAC, headphone jack, fingerprint reader in my preferred position (on the back), one of the first phones to use multiple camera lenses for different zoom levels. It was an incredibly feature-rich phone, which isn’t a thing anymore sadly.
Keep in mind: if it’s her house, she can technically do whatever she wants to do to enter your room. She can literally remove your door if she wants to. At the end of the day, this isn’t a fight you can win by simply changing the lock. The issue isn’t that she is able to open the lock, it’s that she isn’t respecting the lock. Most interior household doors have locks that are easy to bypass for safety reasons. The purpose of the lock isn’t to keep people out, it’s to communicate that people should keep out. If she isn’t respecting that, you need to take a different approach. She isn’t going to suddenly start respecting your privacy if you make it harder for her to invade, she’s going to view it as an escalation, and as a challenge to her authority.
Personally, I don’t get paid every month, I get paid every two weeks, which means that some months I get paid twice and some I get paid thrice. Stating an annual value corrects for weird shit like this, and it’s going to be consistent since it’s probably how it is being tracked in the employer’s accounting.
I’ve always been in favour of a phone with a shitty camera. I don’t give a fuck about posting on social media, and these days a huge chunk of a phone’s price is determined by how powerful of a camera they were able to cram into it.
I recognize that this apparently sounds insane to most people.
Is “Owls to Athens” a reference to Athena?
