Oh man. Thanks to you I’m now going to be up all night playing Planet Crafter, I garauntee it… Game definitely has that “Just one more exploration!” Or “You cant give up, you’re so close to the next tier just do it”.
Not sure if it’s the simplicity (which I initially disliked) or the absolutely no hand holding that I love about Planet Crafter, but this game has me hooked, and I cant wait to see the fruits of my labor.
Got into being a low voltage electrician out of pure luck.
Kiddo on the way, just a dumbass working at Dominos… But it turns out a family member goes fishing with a guy who works for a fire alarm company. Talks about me to em, which then turns into them saying if I wanna work hard I should get a real job.
Long story short, that company ended up having to lay me off because of their own fuckups, but my foot was already in the door. Besides fucking up plenty myself, I have found myself in a very good position from all the “courses” I have since taken, and would suggest everyone else also take this route. If you’re willing to learn, and enjoy working on your own, low voltage is the way to go. It is also a relatively safe field. I have been electrocuted a few times, but purely due to my own negligence (or for fun, 24vac ain’t that bad), and nothing long term has ever come up.
Fair enough, that said, I was never much a social bug. Only ever joined a corp because someone would find me strip mining, and offer to help me out via a corp, and try to get me to moon mine with them.
I definitely had my fun, but similar to others even just moon mining cut deep into time I should have spent with my family.
I’ve only ever been a miner, and not a moon miner, but like the kind who goes to .4sec and just tries finding the most valuable ore… I know there is a huge pvp and pve scene, but like, where can I find it? I’ve also never been a multi boxer, so I have one character who over the course of 7+ years has trained every possible thing, and i have no idea what to do with that, besides maybe joining for a week and strip mining before gettin burnt out

Where would I be when you lose the baby? The game just always freaked me out and knowing I’m going to face some kind of boss and not have any help from it made me put down the game many years ago and I’ve never been able to get back into it
