Same, I’m also currently looking for a kayak and it surprised me as well since when I last looked there wasn’t one under 1k.

Now of course they are limited compared to a normal kayak but for someone in an apartment that has no other options it would at least get them something until their living arangement allowed them to get a proper one.

And if all you ever want to to is casually hang out on flat water it really doesn’t limit you at all.

$500 for an Oru Lake

$280 for a Tucktec 10’

There are other models but those seem to be the most popular.

They can absolutely get crazy expensive and started that way but have come down in price a lot.

They have folding kayaks if that would suffice. There’s also some types that break into pieces and slide into each other like cups taking a 12 foot kayak down to like 3 feet.

I’d avoid inflatables in most cases though.

Would she not just remove the door? Sure it would stay locked for that moment but the next time it’s open she might just pop the hinge pins out. You know her more than the rest of us of course but that seems likely given the current behavior.

That’s interesting. On kbin.social anytime I see spam it’s from hexbear

It’s also hilarious every now and then you’ll get somebody that drank the whole pitcher of 70s anti-D&D koolaide and thinks it’s for devil worshiping or some shit like that…while their favorite movies are Lord of the Rings like that isn’t the same subject matter through a different medium.

Yeah, they plug into your OBD2 port and monitor mileage and driving habits (hard accel, hard braking, hard cornering) in some cases they can result in cheaper insurance.

In general they’re an opt-in thing unless you have horrible driving history.

My work phone is an iPhone and Apple maps has, more than once, put me.on the opposite side of the city from where I’m supposed to be.

Is there really any problem with that on the internal though?

we did it feddiverse!

That doesn’ t roll of the tongue as well as “We did it Reddit”. We’ll have to find something else to be our catch phrase.

Among higher than average users it seemingly was. Given that reddit was saying the third party apps were using above average amounts of API calls per user. They said it’s because of the 3PAs baing unoptimized but it was likely that more engaged users used 3PAs.

Honestly I’m kinda interested in seeing how long everyone behaves. File owner can always keep a backup of the file and change permission and restore if people act a fool.
