Yeah, that makes sense. They probably can’t properly support a video card they couldn’t get their hands on due to Intel not shipping it until late last year. They also aren’t that powerful of cards. Lastly the Intel drivers are brand new. Most engines are not treated against them, as such there are a lot of corruption bugs. Which makes sense because they weren’t able to get the cards early enough to support them. Since Intel has now discontinued their flagship arc card not even a year after release it’s unlikely any games will really support Intel gpus in the future.
Counter strike makes any single player shooter trivial. The best they can do for difficulty is make headshots not actually kill the target in 2 or 3 shots.
Platformers are easy after super meat boy.
The original Deus Ex will train you to explore and scrounge for every bit of ammo. Making your skills from counter-strike even more valuable.
Ah, it’s 6 steps to unlock experimental features that may crash and enable the tabbed UI. Interesting, also, it looks brand new. FreeOffice has constantly kept compatibility with Docx and MSOffice whereas Libre is very well known for having formatting differences between it and MSOffice. FreeOffice is also fairly more stable in my experience. I’ve never had it crash on me where LibreOffice, even without the experimental features turned on, has crashed or failed to open a lot of files for me in the past.
Overall I’d love to see Libre succeed more than Free but I also have work to get done. I need things to work flawlessly, especially when it comes to documents. If I have to fuss around in experimental settings that straight-up say they may crash then I’m out. I can’t be wasting my time like that.
Those are usually locked away behind command lines and they don’t test with random chance or such. You trigger the things directly. Realistically what probably happened is some engineer wrote the system slightly wrong and no one caught it. Possibly maybe a designer requested the romance to be more prominent and the solution on engineering side was to tweak a value. It’s be surprised if anyone changes hard coded values for QA. It’s not the 90s anymore where qa is the engineering team.
I’m 10 years into my games career and one of the main reasons I’m still in it is that I’ve worked for indie studios for most of my career.
I’ve worked rarely for AAA studios and they are soulless and long hours. It’s not fun, it’s not creative, it’s not about creating personal art. It’s about creating a product to make profits. They’re really fun games a lot of the time but they get there by limiting who can contribute to what.
An engineer trying to give feedback on design gets shut down. A lot of smaller studios are the opposite and people wear multiple hats daily. I love wearing multiple hats and it helps me understand my own art creation process.
Some folks in the industry as well only see this like a job not an expression of themselves through art. That’s fine but limits them to studios who only want workers not artists.
That said, the average has came up. About 10 years ago that average time in the industry was 5 years. Now it’s 7. People are finding the industry more and more stable but the industry does have a problem keeping juniors. I almost left the industry several times but as I got over 5 years I started to see a change in job offers. Lots more recruiters contacting me. At 10 years I’ve started to see a lot more people wanting to pay me for an hour talk. It becomes easier to stay in the industry as you gain experience but those first 5 years are really rough.
The limited edition wasn’t limited in the sense they planned to stop making them. It’s their flagship. This is what I got off of a few articles. If they are still shipping chips to people, it wasn’t clear from a few places I read this from. Additionally battlemage information seems to be all from leaks.
Either way with how shotty the drivers have been went how little hardware has been available to place blame at video game developers for not supporting their cards is silly.
