@hariette onboarded an Android dev just the other day to help feel more like an authentic Android experience.

Hmm. I typed @hariette@kbin.social I didn’t actually use a URL. I did that because I wasn’t sure if I just typed @hariette how it would appear on Lemmy

[x-post]Private beta for Artemis App (for kbin/Lemmy) will be rolling out at the end of June 2023.
Hariette is hard at work to create an alpha release that is stable enough to start rolling out. Follow [https://kbin.social/m/ArtemisApp](https://kbin.social/m/ArtemisApp) (!ArtemisApp@kbin.social for you Lemmy users) for more updates and announcements on the app. Hariette is also available at kbin: [@hariette](https://kbin.social/u/@hariette), and Mastodon: [@hariette](https://tech.lgbt/@hariette).

For all we know Christian is talking to a lawyer behind the scenes, it’s typically not recommended by attorneys to announce that you plan on suing someone

So far all of the dev work has been done by Hariette herself. Full credit to her, I’m just promoting it because it really looks quite great in my opinion.

The kbin/lemmy app is coming along. Here´s a little preview of the upcoming beta! Heavy inspiration from Apollo. The app will be available for both iOS and Android.
The dev, [@hariette](https://kbin.social/u/hariette), also has a Mastodon profile where she posts updates [https://tech.lgbt/@hariette](https://tech.lgbt/@hariette). There is also a link to the apps discord server in her bio.

One additional plus to using kbin over Lemmy is there’s no “Microblog” feature on Lemmy. So if you follow Mastodon accounts on Lemmy, you won’t see anything. Whereas if you follow Mastodon accounts on kbin, their posts will come in as Microblogs!

I’m using kbin.social mostly, I will just follow Lemmy communities from kbin once federation is re-enabled. It doesn’t make sense to me to have an account for Lemmy AND an account for kbin if they’re both part of the Fediverse.

I am also using Mastodon, even though it’s part of the Fediverse. I’m doing this because it’s more like Twitter, and the tweet equivalent on Mastodon is the same as a “Microblog” on kbin.
