Librewolf is a pretty easy choice.

I am not sure why but one day every international Skype user I know switched to Viber. I wonder what impact Viber had on Skype.

My company is one of the top large data management firms specializing in Oracle in the world. What Larry is proposing is impossible with Oracle. He has no understanding of the limitations of his own product. Or he does and is just talking out his ass so he can scam the gullible Trump administration out of billions of dollars.

Not eggs specifically but the price of food is out of hand.

LOL. I came up with inveg back in 2018 after I had to go vegan due to major heart surgery. I use it all the time but you’re the first person I have ever seen use the term other than me even though “involuntary veganism” has got to be a thing for plenty of people who’ve had a near death health issue.

I left Facebook years ago but I still.have to use its marketplace because up where I live, it is the only way to buy and sell used stuff. I fucking hate that.

I’ve been expecting WW3 since 1983.

Other than English and Spanish, what would be a very useful language to learn?
If I could only learn one additional language, and I wanted to travel the world, what language would serve me best other than English or Spanish?

Puerto Rico ≠ Puerto Ricans

Puerto Rico doesn’t get to vote. So anyone who is a registered resident of Puerto Rico, regardless of birth location, does not get to vote in federal elections. Full stop.

Puerto Ricans are US citizens with all the rights and privileges that go with that. They can vote in federal elections as long as they are not a registered resident of Puerto Rico. So if someone is born in Puerto Rico, moves to Florida and declares that their place of residence, then moves to Paris, France. They can vote via absentee ballot.

TL;DR: Puerto Ricans, yes. Puerto Rico, no.

Reading this thread makes me realize that a lot of people don’t know how much free stuff is out there. Tabletop games, RPGs, music, etc. Loads of stuff

You don’t even get the awareness of your life up until that point. It makes me think of René Descartes’ validation of it existence. “I think, therefore I am”. The problem is that, when you’re under, you cease to think, therefore you cease to be. Also, if the meaning or value of life is the collection of memories we gather along the way, and the moment you cease you not only lose further thought but also all memories and experiences you collected up until that point, then what the fuck are we doing here?

That Propofol and/or Fentanyl sleep is something else. For about a week after surgery I slept the most wonderful sleep.

Life just stops. It’s like there was a portion deleted from your living record. No thoughts. No dreams. No fuzzy memories at the edge of thought that you can’t quite recall. None of that stuff you get even when blackout drunk. One moment you’re alive, counting or talking to the nurse, then suddenly you’re back and someone’s removed a piece of your body and apparently a piece of your timeline.

+1

Stating that BG3 is D:OS3 is a massive compliment.

Other than the Madison Reeves post I just read, I am completely out of the loop on the LTT controversy. That said, I made it about 1/3 of the way through the video before I had to stop it. I know very little about these guys but that video is infuriating.
