Technology Connections is criminally underrated. Genuinely a really smart and entertaining guy.

Up to you, though from the last info we got it seems like things are moving along nicely development wise. The full game should be done by later next year I feel.

Definitely play Deltarune. I like Undertale but Deltarune, especially chapter 2, was insanely good for being free.

Super excited for this one. You can actually pick up some of them and use their abilities, for example using a fire type as a flamethrower.

I would play video games or just relax and listen to music

Ready when its ready sort of thing. Right now it looks like everything build, buy, and character design related are mostly finished.

So now they are working on gameplay and simulation which wont be easy for an indie team considering how much developing power it always took to develop the sims. As it stands there are basic things like sitting and hugging but with clipping and weird animation glitches. Not to mention they promised an open world yet to be seen in a functional state besides lots.

I wouldnt expect Paralives to be ready until mid 2024 at the earliest. Join their discord cause they post monthly updates on what they are developing with gifs and screenshots.

More hyped for Paralives to be honest, but glad there are two in the making.

Redgifs embeds was what I was referring to.

One time while I was working I saw someone with a case that was this massive brick that had spikes all over it. I asked them why it looked like that and apparently it was so they wouldnt lose sight of it or misplace it. I guess thats why people have the huge cases.

Inline video is a thing on Lemmy, dont ask me how I know but it is now possible with certain hosting sites.

I love game OST so it really depends on my mood. For now the vibe is Planet Coaster.

Their tagline “Shop like a billionaire” makes me sick. Fast fashion and stuff like Temu have become so predatory lately. Fuck FOMO tactics.

Been aware of it for the past year since Twitter fucked up API access and I knew that Reddit was going public someday.

I even selfhosted a matrix server for a while to try to use discord less but that fizzled out. Its complicated and kind of resource intensive to host your own instances especially with federation. But I am glad that is an option and will do it when I can upgrade my homelab. Now that Reddit has fallen I am committing to the fediverse using mastodon and lemmy.

No more reddit at all. I even blocked reddit on my search engine. Everyday lemmy as a service, the apps we use, and the content we see here are improving. It just takes time.

Fediverse is truly the last bastion we have against shit like twitter and reddit. Why do you think Threads will try to federate with us? its because they see the potential aswell. However we’ll see how that shakes up with almost everyone agreeing not to federate with them.

The house I grew up in had a big backyard and I remember one night when I was like 10 years old I had a nightmare that a shadow person ran all the way from the back of the property to my house then presumably into it in less than 10 seconds.

Was the scariest thing Ive ever witnessed because when I woke up it was still night and I believed it actually happened and someone/something got inside.

Wait what? I can still view the gaming beehaw just fine
