I mainly subscribe to ASMRists, and even then I don’t follow the bigger ones because I don’t enjoy their content.

And one of the gaming channels I follow is brilliant and yet they have so few subscribers. Filthy Casuals, three Australian comedians chatting about games. Their Let’s Plays are great.

Wouldn’t it be easier to list ones who aren’t overrated?

I really don’t understand the popularity of the “big” YouTubers. PewDiePie being the prime example from a few years ago, though I don’t think he’s still making videos.

Yes, but what does that have to do with the tedious “everything bad that happens is capitalism” trope?

There’s not much that’s scientific about that.

Were prehistoric animals neoliberal capitalists? Because a lot of them died due to climate change.

One thing that hasn’t changed from Reddit is the naive politics of all sides. Depressing.

I didn’t notice until near the end, when I couldn’t recall anyone saying anything or the music stopping. 😄

I thought nothing could top Breaking Bad, but then I watched Mr. Robot.

The creativity, cinematography and unique ideas in that are outstanding. The episode with almost no dialogue is particularly brilliant.

Normalised by America, maybe.

Outside of it, we’re all wondering what the fuck is going on.

I only use the subscriptions feed, so I only see what I want to see and that removes this problem.

And our default state is to have no meaning. So if you feel like you haven’t found yours and then you feel lost as a result, there’s no need to be.

The endless pursuit of meaning or purpose can actually make you more unhappy.

This is why I hated Attack of the Clones.

I know the love story is important, but it was bloody tedious to watch.

How could the daughter of the most powerful force-user possibly have Force powers?

It’s truly baffling.

Only because AV was even worse.

It wasn’t a PR system, it was just FPTP with a hat on.

Another one using Thunder here.

Purely because it looks and works a lot like Relay for Reddit. Which is the only app that made Reddit usable for me.
