How to Backup/Dump/Rip PS1 Games Using Brasero on Ubuntu 22.10 (Linux)
I watched this video recently because I was having trouble ripping a ps1 game from the disc and most of the suggestions I could find were imgburn which is windows only and not open source. Unlike the video I used Brasero on pop os 22.04 LTS. Another thing to note is the emulator I used was not picking up the game at first because you need both the cue file and bin file in the game folder unlike with ps2 emulation that requires just one file.

Damn that sucks it should be open source. Let people fork and optimize it so it uses less electricity as possible.

I could understand banning closed source models but open sourced models that work better than anything propriety isn’t that just the free market that corporations like to pretend to be part of?

This YouTuber Is Actually Suing Minecraft & Mojang
TLDR: Mojang is is breaking the law by changing EULA terms without informing anyone while claiming stuff that is written down on their end breaks the EULA without proof of the text that makes it banned, that making it a one sided contract. They also are allowing stuff on the market place which the EULA already bans.

My first day using Pop OS
I recently decided to reinstall linux mint 21.3 Cinnamon to clean any extra packages I installed over time so I didnt have to manually look for and uninstall packages that I no longer use. Though when I tried to run lutris it would no longer run so instead of trying to get it to work I thought I would try pop os. First thing I noticed when installing Pop OS was the different layout. I was use to the linux mint layout since I went from windows to Mint. I never used Mac so this layout might seem normal for mac users. So far I have reinstalled Lutris and got lord of the rings the battle for middle earth 2 to run. This is part2 of my first post from a few months ago. [1 month of Linux Mint and some thoughts.](https://lemmy.world/post/15346911)
