This is partly why it’s been so hard for me to leave my job, haha; my higher-ups fully let me create, find, and/or use any tools I prefer to get the job done.

Geez, the half-color clicking is really counterintuitive. Why couldn’t they just go with radio buttons or something?! Thanks for the detailed instructions.

Off-topic: do you have a guide on how to get uMatrix to do this blocking? That sounds great but it looks to be all manual. Do you run it with uBlock Origin?

Well, clearly you don’t hate them but are mixed about them. If you hated them then you would drop them within half an hour.

I’d be happy to show you Death Road to Canada at no cost to you through Steam Remote Play with my copy! The only catch is that you’d need a gamepad since it doesn’t take multiple players on one keyboard.

Hexceed is free, lite Hexcells, I read, if you want to try before you buy.

I personally found Sunless Sea to get boring after a while to the point of giving up on it. I think DREDGE might be more appealing, though I haven’t played it: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1562430/DREDGE/

This title is in at least one of the past years’ gigantic itch.io charity bundles, for those who may have picked up some of those.

A couple of hours is not that far in. I would strongly recommend that you restart and play a pacifist run because that leads to the best, most comprehensive ending.

Prey is an awesome game. To my recollection, it was the last game I pirated and I felt so bad after beating it that I eventually bought it; I’ve been gaming legally ever since. I hope the winner (exclude me!) enjoys it immensely.

I don’t think that’s borderline anymore…

Fly a cup of sugar to a neighbor

Using what attachment?

It’s generative so it will generate plausible answers with no consistency of truthfulness.

We have common(-enough) sense to be able to pick up on whether it’s being sensible or not, after which we take to search engines. Search engines are now the fallback; a friend of mine and I have nearly totally replaced search engines with ChatGPT as the primary way of quickly, initially getting info now. If you stay aware of its limitations, it can be life-changing in a positive way.

I wonder if you could already begin doing this with a mic, memory card, and battery pack for a tiny phone or similar device! A fully powered Zoom H4n can record for hours. I wanna hear what she says, at any rate.

I’ve grabbed the same login name on multiple lemmy servers plus kbin

How can I find the biggest ones to follow suit? I thought we could carry usernames across servers. I guess I’m not following all this federated stuff very well after all.

What are your weird use cases for a personal drone?
If we could get autonomous drones, I would have one hold up an umbrella to shield me from the sun at all times as I walk around, lol!

Wait, what? You can force any website to comply with your own CSS? How (apart from manual Inspector edits every time)?

The browsers have their own dark mode, in chrome://flags or edge://flags, but in my experience they don’t work as consistently, overall.

Is there a Lemmy community of /FreeGameFindings?
If not, how do we get one going? I'm new to Lemmy and /r/FreeGameFindings + /r/AppLab are the top subs that I would want to see recreated here!
