“Dich soll der Blitz beim Scheißen treffen!”

May lightning strike you while you shit. One of my personal favourites.

Managers are managers because they’re good at playing power games, not because they’re competent at their jobs. Power games are much harder if you never see the people you manage. Managing in a predominantly WFH environment will be very different and a lot of people who are successful now will fail in this world. That’s what they’re scared of.

Normies don’t think about Linux. You don’t even need to see Linux if you use a Steam Deck.

Compared to the hundreds of millions that play mobile pay to win games, that’s still niche.

I would stop Emperor Constantine from winning the civil war and adopting Christianity for the Roman Empire. That shit set civilization back by centuries.

Yeah, that statement is so dumb. Even if it’s hugely successful, a game of this type is made for a niche audience. That niche audience does hate microtransactions but they’re in no way representative of the mainstream.

But seriously, I’m looking at the HAARP page on wikipedia and it seems to be an array for studying the ionosphere?

That’s just what they want you to think!

I work in a place where the computers are very locked down. You cannot install anything of your own. You always have to go through the helpdesk, which can take a few days to resolve your ticket. We have 7zip installed by default but if that was not the case, this could easily be a problem. Sending stuff as .zip is always the safest way if you don’t know what environment your recipient is using.

Greetings, fellow Mint peasant. We may not be as cool as the Arch bros, but our stuff just works. I use Mint because I don’t want to spend my time fiddling about with my OS. It does what it’s supposed to do and doesn’t get in the way. One day when I i was bored I did an Arch install in a VM just for fun. But getting that to an actual working state is a lot of hassle. For my daily driver I’ll stick with Mint.

I can do that in an hour: go to wordpress.com. Click on “create new website”. There. Done.
