Humans are afraid of death. Thus we don’t like to talk about it. Thus being more afraid of it. Thus treating it as an exception.

That’s why I love Caitlin Doughty’s YouTube channel

Wow, you have some very old kids 😵😆

I write a long comment and then don’t send it.

Usually after typing everything out and reading it back, I have cooled enough to think it’s mediocre at best and the other person doesn’t deserve so much of my time wasted anyway (which already happened of course, but they don’t need to know that 😅).

All of Star Wars?

Well… Lumpy, Chewie’s son, watching some kind of erotic show in the Holiday Special.

This makes me want to drink Fanta more than Cola though.

I don’t blame the workers for wanting to continue earning their money. I wonder whether they provided the new drink freely to Coke once the contact came back, or if Coke just took it…

Maybe once a week using RiF ReVanced for

  • Checking two small subreddit
  • Delete comments that haven’t been visible anymore but now are again (because I deleted newer comments, now the older ones starting to appear again)

This modern one-page website style, where when you click on a Link in the menu it just scrolls you down to that part.

I mean it’s ok for Wikipedia where you basically have a document, but I hate it for multimedia or company stuff.

Most of the time it’s coupled with these animation instead of actually scrolling shit.

It’s not completely harmless, it’s much easier to stub your toes! 😧

I’ve encountered DNS poisoning (or similar?) multiple times. Wouldn’t call this completely harmless. I wouldn’t use it for online banking.

So non-local communities from (one-way) de-federated instances are basically mod-less spaces where users from federated instances can interact with eachother?

E.g. LW users and infosec users can create posts and comments on lemmy.world/c/gaming@beehaw.org, but the mods from beehaw.org/c/gaming have no power and don’t even see it, since they are disconnected.

Hey vis4valentine, you should correct “wish” to “which” in your comment. That typo could cause readers to understand the sentence completely inverted.
