I use Bitwarden for pw manager and 2FA. I use that to create a random password for anything I sign up to.
I am fortunate enough to run my own mail server, so for every signup I don’t trust, I make a new email address and only use it for that one thing.
You can do facetube+normalemail@someplace.con if you cannot run your own. This at least lets you know who is leaking your info.
I generally try to run as much FOSS as possible, I do dual boot Win/Linux because unfortunately we still have companies not providing for both OS.
And if I go out in the public, I wear a cricket box.

I always wash from top down, with the exception of hair I do last. Since I practically have none (bit of shampoo every few days) I don’t think this matters unless I have been shat on by a bird or something!
Neck/ears/face etc first (after a good pre-lather - see above, then a post-lather), then shoulders armpits, arms etc, then belly, balls and bum, down the legs to the ankles. Like someone else said here, I’m 190cm and at this point I am already uncomfortably prone! Feet are always dancing around in soapy water so they are fine, and I never got toe jam so it must be okay.
Strange. Chrome based browsers do not allow autoplay in most cases. If the site specifically default mutes the video then autoplay is allowed. I believe Firefox adheres to this as well. I don’t know anything about Safari.

If the sites you visit autoplay unmuted videos, they are circumventing html somehow. So this means you can probably use uBlock (or ABP) and its element picker to remove the element/video, but that’s also annoying if since you won’t ever see the videos, and something you do want to watch comes up.
I do, but only to support FOSS users in some communities that are not here [yet]. There is no opnsense community here in Lemmy, so when I see questions there in reddit, I help where I can.
However, my “bio” or whatever it is called in reddit, clearly states that I have moved to Lemmy permanently.
I am actually considering creating a opnsense community here and hoping that Franco will come and join, and take over ownership.
I would:
- Buy a FU environment Car, and use 100% of the speedometer because I paid for it.
- Buy a FU sized house, and fill it full of ballpit balls, cocaine and hookers.
- Buy a FU size music venue, pay U2 to play at the venue, give free entry to everyone and arm them all with 4 cartons of eggs each.
- Throw a massive FU party on the biggest ocean cruiser, invite only the top 10% of richest people. Then scuttle the thing.

- 50% goes to developing Australia.

- 20% goes to whoever is still alive in my family.

I was. I did it from my instance. Just span its wheels. (I was just acknowledging that it was ‘across instances’ I was on mine, reading a spam post on .ml
(I’m still new at this so I might not be clear in what I mean. But I didnt “log into” your instance, other than I had subscribed to a sub on your server)
I was working for an Australian company, that was bought by a big (F500) American company. Actually they bought over 200 companies globally to become what they were.
After the dust settled, the American corp started talking all sorts of stupid American stuff that would never fly in Australia. For example ALL Aussies have the right to 4 weeks annual leave, and 2 weeks of sick leave per year. They wanted to change that to 3 weeks and NONE! (again would never have happened, legally, but damage was being done…)
Staff started to leave.
Next thing was then global conferences at stupid times of the night/morning with staff that were not typically the type to take meetings AT ALL. (Not upper or middle management, I mean workers and supervisors) This was around 2015, way before anything we are more familiar with today.

And finally was all the stupid buzzwords and never ending general shit that we just didn’t care about. “Bi-weekly” (ambiguous globally and simply should not be used. It’s either fortnightly or twice a week…) Not to mention the plethora of other buzzword shit like “holistically engaging in resource-maximising virtualisation” and bluesky or “data-only sales” (we made manufacturing equipment ffs!!)
Middle management started to walk, it was becoming a rolling stone covered in moss.
Then when there was a bit of a market shift and the economy went down (and therefore the American company took an EBITA hit, they laid off 20% of the staff). This led to further insecurity in the company and about 30% of the rest of the workers said fuck it and left. What do you expect when they are assembly/production or electricians etc who can get more stability from working out of a van and a mobile phone.
They managed kill themselves and even drop out of the F500 list!
