I don’t know. I live a good female lead. Ripley, Furiosa, Marge Gunderson. There’s so many, that’s just the first three that come to mind. Half the time when I’m playing Fallout, it’s female characters.
There are definitely bad female leads in things, too. Just like there are bad male leads. Like, Borderlands 3, basically unplayable. I never finished it. And I really want to be clear, the characters aren’t bad because they are women, they are bad due to poor writing. That game had such potential, but it felt like the script was written entirely by highschoolers.
Fallout 4. What I seem to enjoy the most out of it is resource gathering to try and build impervious settlements. But Fallout 4 is not Subsistence, or The Forest, or Subnautica. I’m not playing it properly. I don’t care about the story or the characters because they are bad.
Stick with Fallout NV or 3 for good (first person) Fallout.
I like it so far. Everyone seems so helpful and nice. There isn’t a ton of content here yet, but I know we’re all working on it. Some of my niche interests have already had communities pop up since I’ve joined.
Currently, I’m using Connect. The UX is similar enough to Baconreader that I haven’t had many issues with my transition. The future looks bright!
Nah. It’s fine. I ended up taking an extra year to get my BSME. Nobody has ever once questioned that on my resume. Luckily, a few of my friends continued on to graduate studies, so I still knew a few people that last year.
