There’s protest music, but it’s also different than back then. Now most of it exists in the more marginalized communities like the queer or poc space, as opposed to the mostly white hippie movement for example

It’s easy to get stuck in a music bubble. You have to work to find new music.

I’m not a war hawk at all, and I used to have a similar viewpoint as you, but I’ve realized that all it takes is one crazy person with power to prove this whole idea completely naive and ignorant. Look at the Ukraine war and Putin for example.

Wow congrats! One thing I learned about making art is not to seek validation from my friends/family - something about the close association of them to me makes it hard for them to view the art in an unbiased way. So it must of been empowering to have strangers approve of your art. Anyone in your life that hasn’t been so supportive, turns out those people were wrong or at best close-minded
