This may have more to do with the fact that Google search quality bombed when Reddit self-imposed this crisis.

I plan to avoid the site as much as possible, but if I have to visit, I plan on not being logged in and I plan on making sure my ad blocker is working at 100%. I plan to not contribute any additional content to Reddit that they could monetize. And if I need to interact with anyone privately, I will be sure to inform them of the migration here.
