Matrix. I’ve watched the trilogy god knows how many times, I still find it entertaining.

Mine consides with yours, except it’s a bit more techy. We’d still need someone to grow food for everyone on the planet, and that’s where robots come in… and for everything else that is just tedious or repetitive to do. We’d also need central coordination regarding things like solar panel control, or nuclear power plant control, so a central AI will most probably dominate on all devices.

There is no currency, we have an advanced socialist society. We don’t have polititians, we have “shamans” (people that guide the rest and keep the social piece, as well as uphold the values of the society). These people are not chosen by elections, they’re groomed from youngsters to be leaders and embedded with the values this society upholds the most. Of course, they’re carefully screened and chosen, based on certain tests that all children have to take, and scored on that (compassion and other highly valued human traits that are considered weaknesses in today’s society, leadership skills, etc.).

Maybe, I’ve only had experience with a few of them, not hundreds… never had any problems with the swingplate. Feeder rubbers, yes, but that’s a common problem on all printers, you just sand those down a bit and they work like new.

These can still be pretty good if used for home printers, 30K pages without a problem, that’s a lot for home use. You could probably still get one of these for like $100 second hand. That’s not a bad deal considering how good these things are.

Ricoh are great, but I’ve had bad experience with Xerox. Xerox used to be great, but they dropped in quality the last decade or so. Ricoh are still great though.

The need for self-masturbation (circlejerk) runs strong in people. “Wow, look at my cool new lips/ass/boobs/ink.”. Yep, all things that we as a human race should be really proud of 😒.

I wish I lived on another planet, this one never really felt like home anyway.

Can’t believe people are signing up left and right to Threads… do they even know it’s a data harvesting farm?

Wait, are we talking about the same printer?

These were beasts man, going through 40k pages withought a hitch.

Make and model of the drive… and FS/OS combo.

At least 5 mil tweets per month, lol 🤣🤣🤣.

One is a nuclear scientist and the other decided to jump off a building.

Leila. I just love it. It’s so feminine. I’ll name my daughter that if I ever have a daughter.

I get to have perks cuz no one can get any work done nowadays withough an IT department.

When people expect to get A LOT for very little, this is to be expected 🤷.

Buy a second hand HP 1100 1200, 1300, 4200, they’ll last you a life time, but… nobody listens 🤷.

Only the NSFW content, I got everything else here.

Well, you could ask the lemmy repost bot to make reposts of all of the subs you’ve posted here, on Lemmy, but ot only takes posts from today and maybe a few days back, reposts them here, and than just carries on reposting from that point on. It doesn’t actually repost retroactively.

Though you could probably speak to the dev that actually runs that instance, maybe he can make a bot mod that does the same, but with users and does it retroactively. It’s worth a shot IMO 🤷.

Yeah, on Reddit, comments got kinda lost in the noise… that’s why I always chose New, even on Reddit. What’s the point of commenting if no one actually reads your comment 🤷.

I actually kinda like being the first to comment on a post… it raises post and view count and people that have Hot or Active selected in their feed, will most probably get that post in there if enough people comment.
