I don’t get to interact very much as I’m usually late to the party, at least that is how it used to be on reddit, but I had my first exchange of comments on lemmy yesterday. But now I have an unread message notification that won’t go away, even if I clicked it several times and upvoted it. The message I replied to earlier doesn’t show up as unread. Has anybody else experienced this?

I am using Memmy on iOS.

Also asklemmy is not for support. !lemmy_support@lemmy.ml is a support for Lemmy.

What I’d do:

  1. File an issue.
  2. Restart the app.

I’ve experienced a similar issue multiple times. The unread notification doesn’t disappear until you reload the page. Loading a different page doesn’t help. You have to refresh the page you’re on to get it to update.

  4. Not ad nauseam inducing: please make sure it is a question that would be new to most members
