Reddit CEO slams protesters, says he'll change site rules
www.nbcnews.comSteve Huffman, the Reddit CEO, told NBC News in an interview that a user protest on the site this week is led by a minority of moderators and doesn’t have wide support.
It’s almost like he wants to piss people off. Calling moderators running his site for free and upset ally what’s happening “landed gentry”?!

Actions speak louder than words. He may say that it’s a minority, but we’re clearly making an impact.

Narcissistic tendencies? He’s mad that he is getting a bad rep, so he antagonizes even more those that are criticizing him instead of doing what any other sensible person would do (keep quiet and let the storm pass). I doubt he listens to anyone around him, PR team after the AMA would have told him to keep his mouth shut.

I swear they can’t conceive of people who are independently deciding to do things. It’s always leaders and their followers for these fuckwads.
Yeah really. But, I’m sure he’s surrounded by people – investors, other CEOs who love the precedent of exploiting their volunteers, probably most if not all Reddit high-level staff – encouraging him and telling him it’s going well. Back in the 1990s Microsoft was known as being in a reality distortion field and I’ve seen similar things happen at other companies as well.
I’m also sure he’s mad he’s not making that Facebook money - he specifically brought up how much they make in comparison.
He’s mad the value of his stake in the company is going down the toilet before the IPO.
