I was rocking the Jerboa app and now it’s not letting me login. Are there any other alternatives out there?

Try these steps:
I had to log out of all my accounts and then clear the app storage to be able to log back in to my accounts.
Basically what happened is that the hacked instances rotated their master keys and Jerboa didn’t know how to handle it.
Check out https://vger.app/ ; it’s a PWA so it’s “installable” to the launcher.

lemmy.worldinstance has its own voyager install at m.lemmy.world so you don’t have to enter your creds into a 3rd party proxy.Neat! Nice of them to do that. It seems to be a few releases behind, though.
Yeah, fair. I feel like I recall them mentioning an auto-updater that they hadn’t yet set up but planned to.
Folks that want to get faster updates can certainly use the voyager Dev’s instance… it’s the source after all. For someone like me that doesn’t want to enter their credentials into a 3rd party proxy, I’ve been testing world install of voyager alongside Jerboa and Liftoff and it’s been a solid option.
I hear you. I run my own instance in Docker with watchtower for auto-updates. Voyager gets lots of updates, however, so watchtower doesn’t keep up for the time being. Hopefully with time things will stabilize more and there will be less frequent releases.

It is strange that the link opens that for you. My first screenshot was from Jerboa, however, I also have Connect for Lemmy installed on my phone. Here’s a screenshot of the page that the link opens in it. It opens the correct post for me. So I don’t know what the problem could be. I just hope this doesn’t continue to be a problem on Lemmy, that wouldn’t be good.
I’m on Lemmy.ca, maybe that has something to do with it. Oh well 🤷

There was some malicious code in links a few days ago. So a few instances logged everyone out as a quick fix
