First of all, I donāt even know if this is the place to ask, but I couldnāt find anywhere else that made senseā¦
Second, Kbin looks amazing, definitely the best out of the fediverse, however there are still things I cannot for the life of me find in the UI.
EDIT: #5 I donāt seem to get any notifications of any sort, visual or otherwise, that I have received responses to a post or comment. Is this the way itās supposed to be?
I have many more, but any help with those for now would be amazing.

Hi, moderator of m/quickstart here.
They are not dumb questions which is why I had started this community. And as a matter of fact I had already posted regarding some of your questions.
Answered here: How to see a list of all the magazines you are subscribed to
Sorry I donāt know yet.
Disable federation then view the list of magazines.
As far as I know itās only if the user selects āmicroblogā from the homepage.

Edit: tested something and it didnāt work as expected.
Hey! Great idea for the community, subscribed, and thanks!
Thanks friend! Iām adding more guides as we speak!
Doing godās work, Iāll spread the message. Iāve already found it very helpful.
Thatās a kbin limitation ā lemmy doesnāt hit that, and I donāt believe that it can be fixed (well, by flipping a setting) at the moment, though I suspect that itās not hard to fix and probably will see a patch from someone sooner-or-later, as I agree with you that itās pretty visible.
Skimming the list of PRs (pull requests, patches currently waiting for the kbin developer to review them and add them), I do see this:

As a professor of mine once said, the only dumb question is the one that isnāt asked.
@RodPhoto You can enable notifs in settings
Found it, thank you very much.
By the way if you want to add a Thread, which is redditās āpostā, then I think you do it by Add a New Article. I was confused cuz thereās no Add a new Thread, but Iām guessing you can do it with Add new link, photo, video, or article. Article means a text only thread I think.
Got it, makes sense, I figured as much.
Yes, I mean a list of magazines hosted/birthed on kbin.
I have no experience with Mastodon, but thank you for suggesting āNew Articleā which is what I did here, seems like the type of post I was looking to make, which is unintuitive because if you click on āAdd New Postā it takes you to microblogging, and thatās where my question arised.
Thanks again!
To see more magazines/communities, I click Magazines and then that page has a search bar for magazines (I search for the names of my reddit subreddits) and a list of a lot of them.
I think on redditalternatives, thereās also a migration directory to show the corresponding subreddit to community/magazine
I just installed this script and it fixed the distorted image issue.
Thanks, dude! That works! However, I installed a style sheet which has loads of style customizations and it seems to also have fixed that for me. Hereās where I found it, itās amazing: https://kbin.social/m/kbinMeta/t/45300/kbin-css-decluttered-and-parameterized-theme
Although, I donāt know the answer to #2, I do know a slight workaround. If you enable previews, the photos should apper at the bottom of the post in full size.
Edit: Itās called auto media preview and itās shows up when you click the settings bar on the bottom of the page.
Yes, Iāve seen this, Iāve enabled it for now but photos show up too big and I donāt like it. Itāll have to do meanwhile. Thanks.
No problem :)
Oh, I was wondering why thumbnails were so scrunched. Apparently thatās not just me.
