Lemmings

Even without looking at the comments, Lemmings came to my mind. It is such a great name. ♥️

I concur.

Excellent 😂

I think lemmings is the best one. Lemmings are cute.

Most of the people I’ve met on here and asked are going with lemmings. That’s fine by me, it’s cute enough and it works.

The only answer

When life gives you lemmings…

… you yeet them off a cliff in your “documentary”?

I like “Lemmings” personally. Just a big fan of the video game.

Yeah, I saw a older post with same “Lemmings” recommendation.

I vote we call ourselves Lemmiwinks.

Ahh yes, we’re just a bunch of gerbils traversing the bowels of Lemmy.

Reddit Refugees?

Maybe an unpopular opinion but having a name for a Lemmy user is cringe.

What are you gonna ask someone at a party if they’re a lemming? They’re gonna look at you like wtf are you talking about.

It has big “the narwhal bacons at midnight” vibes.

For Lemmy users specifically, I believe Lemmings has been widely accepted. However, when referring to a user of federated software in general (remember they can potentially communicate with other federated software), we could refer to each other as “Fedizens” of the “Fediverse”. I have seen a developer use the term “Fedizen” in one of their code examples, and I like it as a more inclusive name.

We’ve pretty much settled on Lemmings
