I have no idea how the Fediverse works. I use Sync just like I did for Reddit because it’s simple. Is there anything I can do to help?

Besides donating, being active Lemmy user and creating content helps the platform thrive.

replaying to comments also helps

I’m helping!

But then how can I maintain a lurking status?

Now look at what you’ve done!

You’re never gonna believe this, but I don’t have a dog either.

All I got right now is this box of one dozen starving crazed weasels.

The lead lemmy devs are struggling with funding - https://join-lemmy.org/donate

Sync isn’t well updated / supported and I’d recommend moving to another client. I was a long time sync user so I found it hard, but I personally settled on Thunder https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hjiangsu.thunder&hl=en_CA

I’m using Summit as a replacement for Sync

Jebora is pretty damn good too

Thanks, I had to research to even notice anything was wrong.

Former Sync user here, Thunder is ok but Voyager has more features.
