Same here…I’m incredibly disappointed they didn’t release this for PS5!

Please, be(e) nice when using Beehaw. Enjoy a three day vacation from here.

When you applied to have a Beehaw account you agreed to be(e) nice. Take three days off to think about that.

No name calling at Beehaw. Please, be nice here. Enjoy your seven day vacation from Beehaw.

I agree that they are more than capable of fucking things up.

I believe that they know they have a money printing machine with D4. So, if they make improvements to the core of the game, then they can just keep printing money.

In 2008 I went mac and never turned back. Please, don’t tell me about the rare invulnerability of OS X. I get that…I have had zero problems for 15 years. That’s right! No problems at all. Up until 2008, as a Windows user, it was every fucking day.

When you applied to join Beehaw you agreed to our standards, right? Please don’t be a dick on here, OK?

Consider joining our small yet high quality Diablo 4 clan
Our clan, 'Drink to the Dead', has been in the works for a year prior to the launch of Diablo 4. In our humble opinion, [Lothrik's Build Calculator](https://lothrik.github.io/diablo4-build-calc/) is the best out there and they are a member of our clan. We have always striven to be the highest quality, but small, clan in Diablo 4. As far as I know, if you request to be in our clan in the game, then you won't be denied. Please, [join us on Discord](https://discord.gg/u7WTyZUDpv) for much more.

Right…It is hard to gauge this…I’m just going off of all the ‘talk’ that is seen/read on social media.

…but IMO deliberately introducing game design problems so that you can sell the solutions is a scummy practice.

This isn’t your personal opinion. This is a valid complaint from many avid gamers. I am not one of these avid gamers. However, I have read about this issue from many gamers in this particular space (i.e. non-casual players).

I’ll take the risk knowing what I know about the Beeper people that I’ve been working with for over two years.

Universal Chat Application, Beeper, Will Be Available To Everyone (For Free) In A Matter Of Weeks.
I was on the beta testing team and have been using Beeper for a little over two years now. The convenience of having an application to house all of your chat networks is amazing.

Lemmy mobile apps worth mentioning
(Please provide your Lemmy app recommendations in the comments) There are two apps, in particular, that I am testing. [Mlem](https://github.com/mormaer/Mlem) (iOS) & [memmy](https://github.com/gkasdorf/memmy) (iOS & Android) Both are plugging away and looking very good.

Eric Migicovsky is a generous man
8 months ago I prepaid an entire year subscription in order to skip the wait list for the [Beeper](https://www.beeper.com/) beta testing group. Today, I wrote the following to the development team: > I've been alpha/beta testing for decades and have enjoyed every moment starting with Gmail and Orkut. > I know that I have pre-paid for one year and I want your team to have my remaining subscription time as a donation. > I wish all of you the best and I'll spread your service, by word of mouth, amongst everyone I know that may be interested in your product. > I, personally, do not have enough chat contacts to warrant my continued subscription. > Please, delete my account with Beeper and let me know when you have done so. > Thank you again for allowing me to test your brilliant software. And I thought I wouldn't hear anything from them and just be silently removed. But... [Eric Migicovsky](https://twitter.com/ericmigi) wrote back: > Hi Chris, it’s Eric. Thanks for testing and working with us over the last few months! We’re sorry to see you go. Is there any chance we might be able to win you back as a user in the future? If so, it would be better for us to leave your account open, but disabled. It would be really hard to recover your account in future, and someone else might grab your username. As a thank you for your help, I would be happy to offer you free service on Beeper for life! I have already canceled your subscription so you will not be billed again, ever. - Eric
